Then it's time for a busy theatre season 2025/26.
We start with "The Bear That Wasn't", which we will play at the beginning of August at the Kilkenny Arts Festival in Ireland. We have been to the festival several times before and are looking forward to guest playing for the Irish audience once again. This is done with support from the Danish Arts Foundation.
"The Bear.." will also play in Denmark in October. It will be seen in, among others, Syddjurs, Randers, Viborg and Thy. In Copenhagen it will play publicly as part of the Amager Children's Theatre Festival on October 17. See tour list here
"The Tooth Fairy" will tour from mid-September. It will play at Nørregaards Teater for a short week, and then at Horsens Teater Festival. The tour will also go to, among others, Silkeborg, Flensburg, Høje Taastrup, Odsherred and Ishøj. See tour list here
"Greatest of All" will tour in November. It will play for a short week at Nørregaards Teater, and will then travel widely on Zealand, Funen and Jutland. There will also be ample opportunity to see the performance in Copenhagen in the spring, where it will play for a longer period at the Folketeatret, and then also at the Riddersalen in Frederiksberg. See the tour list here
The season will also feature both new productions and revivals:
Teater Patrasket is working on its first Christmas production of the Swedish classic "Karl Bertil Johnssons Julafton" about a boy who tries to do something about the injustice of Christmas. The performance will premiere in March and be presented at the KLAP festival in April.
In November, we will re-perform an old favorite from our repertoire, namely "Søndag" based on Kim Fupz's fine story about a boy who is about to have a little sister and is afraid of losing his parents' love. The performance will be staged with a partially new cast. It will play in Vanløse for a short period in November and will also be presented at the KLAP festival in April.
Finally, in January we will slowly start our new version of H. C. Andersen's fairy tale about Thumbelina. It will be a co-production with Nørregaards Teater and directed by Alex Byrne.
